Unexpected payment
If a Southdowns payment you weren't expecting has been taken from your bank account, this may be due to the automatic renewal of an annual insurance policy your card was used to purchase.
If your policy has automatically renewed when you didn't want it to, you can cancel your policy and receive a full refund if:
- your cancellation request is made within 14 days of the automatic renewal
- your new policy has not already been used for travel
- you have not made and do not intend to make any claims against your new policy
If the Southdowns payment is not due to an automatic renewal, please contact our UK-based Sales and Service team by phone on +44 1903 255 659 during our normal office opening hours of 9am to 6pm on Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday.
To allow our Sales and Service team to search for your unexpected payment in our records, please make sure you have the following information ready:
- the full name, date of birth and address of the bank account holder
- the first 6 and last 4 digits of the payment card associated to the bank account
- the date of the unexpected payment
